Looking for some all white case fans that look good as "Intake"
Main Post:
It's a black and white build in the Lian Li PC-o11 Dynamic XL (White)
Had a hell of a time cable managing all the RGB and fans from my Corsair H100i SE and 3 pack of LL120s yesterday.
So now I just want to get some intakes for the bottom and 1 intake for the back, and I don't want addressable RGB, because I don't think I can mentally handle that again lol
Just looking for some all white (or at least black/white) 120mm and 140mm fans that look good in the intake position. Probably 2 140s for the bottom and a 120 at the back to pass fresh air into the case and pull it out the top exhaust AIO.
EDIT: PWM preferred

Bitfenix Spectre PWM for all white, and Be Quiet! Shadow Wings 2 white PWM for extra quiet vibration damped white and black.
What are some nice white case fans?

Looking for pure white that are very quiet

Coolermasters fans are decent, but pricey.
What white LED case fans should I buy for this build?

Not sure which would be best for this build, what do you guys suggest? I figured getting white led fans would be best because the quad lumi has a white led fan.

Noctua chromax. A lot of different colors available, even in combinations!
Best, quietest case fans?
Main Post:
As my computer was dutifully chugging along yesterday playing a game, I realized - it is really loud. The case fans sound like a plane about to take off.
I think that the issue is two 140 fans on top, as the others are Corsairs and from very brief, very unscientific testing, don't seem as loud. The two up top I added after the fact and while they push the air through, I don't know that the trade-off is worth it.
So, here's my question to you guys: what's the quietest fan that pushes the most air? Is it still Noctua's offerings? I'm interested in both 120s and 140s.

If you don’t want the ugly Noctua fans, try the BeQuite Silent Wings 3. I bought 2 of the 140mm fans as front intakes from my Meshify C and they are pretty quite even at near or full speed.

How can I make my Corsair Fans white? if It try to it just ends up looking blue

also I'm requesting for a rainstorm Icueprofile for fans
Top Comment: Most RGB fans don't do true white. You'd have to get RGBL fans, with dedicated white leds.
The best performing and quietest PC fans I've found
Main Post:
I had posted this to PCMR, but figured I'd post it here too if it can help anyone.
I've got a new build going on and wanted to get the best fans I could for my case and radiator. As well as just get up to date on the best fans in 2020 / 2021. I'm looking for the best performing/quietest fan out there. Noctua's really known for this which is why they're so popular. The problem is that there's so many fans to chose from and so much information out there.
There's also some decent misinformation too. Like some of Noctua's older fan designs like the NF-S12A don't really hold up anymore. Yet they're still so expensive and the poopy brown color still exists.
So, here's what I've found:
*Again, this is the most powerful fan that is ALSO the quietest it can be. Also not looking at RGB fans here.
In general, it seems having static pressure is always better. There's lots of obstructions in PC cases, from grills, to cages, mesh, radiators, etc... It also seems that the air that gets heated up in your case also makes airflow fans and static pressure fans perform worse. But airflow fans usefulness degrades much faster. This means that airflow fans which perform better unobstructed could perform worse than static pressure fans when heat gets into the mix, even without obstructions. (There's a post here from buildapc linked down below that goes into some math)
The Noctua NF-A12x25 PWM is the best fan you can buy right now (Whether using it as a radiator fan or case fan). But it's pricey.
The Arctic P12 & P14 are the best overall fans. That includes price to performance. Honestly, these things are so evenly matched to the NF-A12x25 it's hard to recommend the Noctua's considering the Arctic's are insanely cheaper. Getting down to $7-$10 a fan. If you're doing a huge build with 10 fans that's the difference of $300 or $70-$100 for basically the same performance. That's if you can find any to buy now anyways.
The Thermaltake Toughfan 12 is a blatant rip off of the NF-A12x25 but it really matches the performance and comes in black, and it's a bit cheaper. But Thermaltake's kinda a crappy company.
The NF-A12x25/P12/P14/Toughfan 12 perform so well on a radiator that they're even slightly better than or compare to something like a Noctua AF-A14 which is a 140mm fan.
There's also some other good fan contenders out there from Deepcool, Nidec, Scythe (Scythe in particular for case fans)* but offerings from companies like Corsair/BeQuiet/Silverstone are lagging a bit behind (Unless you have other plans, like aesthetics). Honestly with the Arctic P12/P14 and Noctua NF-A12x25 you're pretty set.
In extreme cases/niche use cases you could probably see quite a big difference in temperatures from really bad fans to the best ones. But you can very easily see 3x cash savings getting something like the Arctic P12 over the NF-A12x25 and see barely any performance differences.
Some people like to make a stink about the "type" of noise fans make, not just the loudness of the noise. And it's true some have more of a mechanical whine to them, or a higher pitch. But the Artic P12 and NF-A12x25 seem like they don't suffer from that.
TLDR:
NF-A12x25 is the best performing/quietest fan. Even vs many 140mm fans. But it's pricey.
Arctic P12 & P14 are the best overall fans. It can get as cheap as 7 bucks and has basically all the performance of the NF-A12x25. These also compete against many 140mm fans.
*EDIT
There seems to be a decent hum for the Arctic fans at certain RPM's which can be a bit annoying. Not really a deal breaker but definitely something to consider and listen to for yourself.

Arctic has been making some really good stuff recently. I highly recommend their Liquid Freezer II AIO lineup. They're the best performing liquid coolers while also being significantly cheaper than other AIOs.
